2026 Price increase and Booking 

 

Dear Valued Clients,

 

Here at Defy Medesthetics and Salon, we are heading into our 20th year of business and we wouldn't be here without all of our loyal clients! To you, we thank you and express our heartfelt gratitude for your continued support. 

 

During all this time, we’ve maintained a commitment to offering exceptional services while making minimal price adjustments. It has been nearly four years since our last pricing update and over the past 20 years most of our pricing has only increased about $10-$15 dollars in total. While we’ve worked diligently to keep costs manageable, rising operational expenses have made it necessary to implement changes.

New Pricing Policy Effective January 12th, 2026

 

Why These Updates Are Necessary

In the past three plus years, our team has faced an average of 100+ last-minute cancellations and no-shows each month. This has a significant effect on our dedicated professionals to make a living and for a small, locally owned business to keep our doors open. When we reserve time for our clients and they cancel last minute or do not show- we do not earn any money for that time and whats worse, is our providers do not get paid for that time. Can you imagine showing up for work and not getting paid?  This also leaves time unavailable for other clients.

These following changes are being implemented to promote a sustainable environment

for both our staff and our valued clients.

 

To enhance your experience and improve appointment management and efficiency, we are introducing updates to our pricing, booking, and cancellation policies. The price of our services will increase and be based on your stylist’s tier. Existing and new appointments from that date forward will reflect the new pricing. 1.  Credit Card on file  Requirement

A secure and encrypted credit card will now be required when scheduling any service. Only the last four digits of this card are visible to us and can be entered by our Client Coordinators, or you can go to the link above to register for a client portal. For your convenience, you can schedule, cancel and manage your  appointment history, charges ect.  This card can be used when checking out and will only be charged when a service has been provided, or in the event of a cancelation of less than 24 hours notice.

2. Cancellation Policy

We kindly request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations, rescheduling.  Failure to cancel with less than 24 hours notice  will result in a charge of 50% of the scheduled service.

A No show-no call will result in 100% charge of the scheduled service.

 

3. Punctuality

To help us serve you and all of our clients as efficiently as possible,  we ask that you arrive promptly for your appointment. Late arrivals of (10 minutes) or more may lead to shorter service times or the need to reschedule and be charged a cancellation fee.

4. Exceptions and Grace Period

We understand that unforeseen circumstances arise. A one-time grace period will be offered for cancellations due to emergencies, and additional situations will be reviewed individually.
